Henriette 2.0

Here comes Henriette 2.0 🙂

There, actually was Henriette 2.0 not planned at all – After all the optimizations, we were actually quite satisfied with our Henriette – as said “actually” ??

And so we came to our new vehicle: in Albania on the pitch at Albin, a vehicle came into the yard in the evening, that looked similar to ours: that was Julia and Walter's MAN (Stone Age Journey). We thought it was very funny and we had to take photos right away.

the two tourists !

Of course you start talking, talks shop about traveling and vehicles. You always look at the others with curiosity “Apartments” an – and I was immediately fascinated by the inner workings of the other MAN: it looked awfully big, bright and super friendly – I fell in love with this expansion. We talked about the history of the vehicle and Julia said, that they wanted to exchange the car for the successor model in a year. Clear, that I immediately secured the right of first refusal for it. Because the chemistry between us was right and we all really liked each other, we kept in touch over the next few weeks.

Back in Germany, Walter called us in January and said, that the successor model would be in the final stages and if we were interested, we should just look at it. Said, did, A flight to Budapest was immediately booked and an appointment with Dickenherr Trucks & Trailers GmbH identified. The nice manager Klaus and his equally nice son Henri showed us the object of our desire. We slept on it one night, then Henriette was bought with a handshake 2.0 sealed (we are always very quick in our decisions:))

So and here are a few more photos of the finished Henriette:

Because in the end time was running out and we had already booked the shipment to Canada, we had to Henriette 2.0 quickly in 4 days and unfortunately could no longer do a test drive in Germany. But in Canada time will tell, how we get along with the new Henriette – I think, we will get along well. It's nice too, that we ride together with our friends Julia, Walter, Wilma and the tourist start – Henriette is not alone there either.
